Athletics

Practice is the foundation for leadership.

Skating, coxing, orchestra, and band — Evelyn treats each as training in teamwork, timing, and the discipline of steady improvement.

Figure Skating

Competitive skating — hours of repetition, precise feedback, and the patience to rebuild a movement until it holds under pressure.

Coxing

As coxswain, she steers, calls the race, and keeps a crew synchronized — leadership measured in seconds and trust.

Violin — MCYO

Performing as a violinist in her orchestra, where individual preparation only matters in service of the ensemble.

E3S — Band

Composing and recording with the band she performs in with her sisters, plus Score, her music-and-sports creative outlet.

U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps

Structure, service, and teamwork — training that carries directly into how she runs programs and teams.

Coaching & Tutoring

Running tutoring and coaching programs, passing on the habits of practice to younger athletes and students.

Two parades, one mission — serving with the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps in Philadelphia at the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps 250 Parade (October 2025) and the America 250 parade (July 2026).

“Short feedback cycles, hands-on learning, attention to craft — sport teaches all three.”
